Respond in complete sentences with correct capitalization and punctuation. Write a well crafted paragraph responding to the following question.
Theme: What is the theme in the book The Killing Sea? Develop your answer. Theme is not just a one word response (remember our lesson?). Give evidence to support your answer. Respond to one other classmate's response, either agreeing or disagreeing with supporting evidence for your argument.

Welcome to the Reader's Corner
Each week I will expect each of you to blog about what you are reading. I will post a question, quote, or comment for you to write about. Your post has to be specific, relevant to my quote/question, and well-crafted based on your book. You are also expected to comment or respond to two other classmates' blogs. These responses can not be general comments like, "That is interesting." "Cool book." Read and respond actively. Make comments or address concerns brought up by the blogger about their book. For example, if you have read the same book, offer your opinions about the protagonist or antagonist, the setting's effect on the plot, genre, or suspense in the novel, or the topic of a non-fiction book. These are just suggestions.
Refer to the rubric for grading. Sunday at midnight is the deadline for weekly posts. If your post is not there by the deadline, you will receive a zero for your weekly blog grade. No exceptions. Do not wait until the last minute to post.
